This was a tough list to prepare, because for some letters there are multiple artists who are among my favorites: C (John Cale, Can, Coil), N (Nico, Nurse With Wound), V (Christina Vantzou, Suzanne Vega, Vindicatrix). There are some artists I don't consider myself a huge fan of, like Univers Zero, but there is not much competition for the letter U. Also, there are some artists for whom I dearly love a few of their albums but don't care so much about their later albums or entire catalog (Roxy Music, for instance)...

And there are not very many artists I know that would be filed under Q, and the ones I can think of I don't even really like.
